Guests can enjoy peace and tranquillity in this spacious holiday accommodation which boasts its own first floor balcony, tennis court and detached games room. The pretty hamlet of Felixkirk is home to the Yorkshire 4x4 Driving Centre, which offers action packed days with off-road driver training, quad-biking and clay pigeon shooting. Nearby is the attractive market town of Thirsk with its World of James Herriott - the former surgery of the famous vet and author. The Hambleton area which surrounds Thirsk has a rich racing history and the racecourse is known for its scenic countryside location. Historic York is just 25 miles away and the Minster’s medieval pinnacles can be seen from the property on a clear day. An 18th century inn, renowned for serving good food, is just a short stroll from the house, and there is a grass landing strip for light aircraft just half a mile away. Shops 3 miles, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
